I believe this is fairly common. I use the Baader diagonal because it has a 47mm+ clear aperture, slightly larger than the rear opening in my C9.25 SCT. The stock diagonal is not as bright or square as the dielectric mirror type diagonals. The 2" option is good so at some point you can venture into the 2" eyepieces for wider FOV.
